Join us on Saturday, May 8, 2010 for the 18th San Francisco Taiwanese American Cultural Festival!

Main theme of this year's cultural festival is "Vibrant Taiwan"  In addition to performances by local renown young Taiwanese American musicians, the festival will highlight performances from the Department of Dance at the National Taiwan Arts University on stage. Performances from Taiwan will articulate sentimental feelings in people who are away from their motherland Taiwan.  The program uses innovative artistic choreography to express those feelings.  Dance performances to ten pieces of music represent various cultures in Taiwan.  Exhibition booths will present proud products from Taiwan, such as orchids, snacks, technology, art works, etc. By popular demand, cotton candies will be available at the festival.  In addition, people should not leave the festival without tasting traditional Taiwanese foods and learning the beautiful tourist attractions in Taiwan - "Ilha Formosa."
